Multiple Product Orders
- When you place an order for multiple products, our aim is to dispatch all the items in your order simultaneously. However, if any of the products are unavailable at the time of shipment, we will send them out as soon as they become accessible, unless you specify otherwise. Your charges will be incurred based on the products included in each shipment, along with any relevant shipping fees. The shipping rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt will be the sole charge for shipping. This shipping charge can be fully attributed to the initial product(s) dispatched within a multiple shipment order.
Order Acceptance Policy
- The receipt of an electronic or any other form of order confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of your order, nor does it serve as confirmation of our offer to sell. Max Water retains the right, at its discretion, to accept or reject your order for any reason, or to provide a quantity of an item that is less than what you initially requested. Please be aware that Max Water does not accommodate order cancellations via customer-requested emails or phone calls. In the event of an incorrect order, kindly reach out to us by clicking here; we will do our best to assist you, although the likelihood of order cancellation is relatively low once the order has been processed or shipped.
- Please take note: Ensure the accuracy of your orders as we cannot cancel orders that have already undergone processing.

Order Local Pick Up
- Kindly note that only the customer who initiated the order is authorized to collect it; other family members are not permitted to do so.
- A valid piece of identification must be presented to verify your identity and match it with the order details during the pickup.

Out-of-Stock Products
- We will dispatch your product as soon as it is in stock. Typically, products are shipped on the same day if your order is placed by 2:00 PM, or on the following business day if your order is received after this cutoff time, or on a Saturday, Sunday, or during a major holiday. Nevertheless, there may be instances when the product you've ordered is temporarily out of stock, leading to a delay in order fulfillment. Rest assured, we will keep you informed of any products you've ordered that are out-of-stock and not readily available for immediate shipment. Inspection and Claim Process:
- Inspect your package within 24 hours of arrival for damaged, missing, or defective parts.

Return Policy & Return Process Instructions:
- Items returnable within 30 days if unused and in original packaging.
- No returns accepted after items are removed from original packaging and installed.
- If you return an item within 30 days of your purchase, you can receive a refund following the terms outlined below, or opt for a credit towards the purchase of another item.
- Out-of-frame returns not accepted after 180 days.
- Unauthorized returns may result in management and restocking fees of up to 45%.
- All returned merchandise must be unused in the original condition and packaging.

Return Instructions for U.S. Customers (International Returns):
- U.S. customers are accountable for return shipments from outside of Canada, including clearing agency costs, customs clearance, and taxes. If these expenses are not covered by the sender, extra charges will be deducted from the customer's refund.

- All returns to Max Water must adhere to the rates specified in the company's policy without exceptions.

Restocking Fee and Shipping Damages:
- A minimum 10% restocking fee applies if the item was not properly protected during the return process, leading to shipping damages.
- In cases of shipping damage, we assess the damage with the carrier and file a claim. If returning due to damage, please report it promptly; delayed reports might affect the resolution process.
- If you receive a damaged item, notify us immediately. We file a claim with the shipper to resolve the issue.
Return Costs and Shipping Protection:
- The buyer bears full responsibility for return costs if they receive damaged items, refuse replacements or exchanges, leading to the return being classified as a buyer return.
- Customers are advised to purchase shipping insurance when returning items. Proper wrapping and packaging standards should be followed to ensure carrier acceptance of claims for shipping damage.
Freight Returns and Lost Packages:
- If freight is returned after customer receipt, any damage to the freight is the customer's responsibility at cost.
- In case of a lost package, the customer must wait for us to locate and arrange its shipment. We reserve up to 60 days to resolve the case with the carrier, especially if tracking information suggests non-delivery or package hold. Despite this, the customer remains eligible to receive their order. If the customer no longer wants the item, they may return it for a refund; however, please note that return shipping labels are not provided.
International Returns and Order Errors:
- We are not liable for Canadian side brokerage fees for international returns. The shipper is responsible for covering these fees when printing the shipping label.
- If you are returning a product due to our order error, we will send you the correct item upon receipt of the wrong item. No additional shipping cost will be incurred, and we will cover the return shipping via Regular Ground with proof of the shipping cost (receipt copy).
Handling Refused Deliveries:
- Deliveries refused for reasons other than shipping damage will be treated the same way as a standard return.
Special Custom-Made Systems:
- Special custom-made or build systems are subject to additional management & restocking fees, ranging from 15% to 25%. These fees apply from the day the customer places the order, regardless of whether the system has been shipped or is still in our stock.
Water Softeners Policy:
- Water softeners are customized orders and are final sale, non-refundable. We do not accept returns for water softeners; however, a limited warranty from the main manufacturer is provided for coverage.

Shipping Policy
- Our shipping policy is as outlined below: we exclusively process shipments on weekdays and are closed during weekends and holidays. Regardless of the chosen shipping method during checkout, all items will be dispatched within 1 to 4 business days following the receipt of payment.
- Please bear in mind that we cannot provide a precise delivery date or time, and any shipping or transit times mentioned are approximations. To minimize the potential for shipping or product availability-related delays, we recommend placing your orders well in advance. Furthermore, please take note that we do not assume responsibility for claims pertaining to items that indicate "delivered" on the carrier's website. To ensure the secure delivery of your order, please provide an accurate and secure shipping address. If you wish to request a signature option, there may be additional charges applicable.
Taxes
- Website Currency: Our displayed product prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), while the value in US currency can vary. Please note that our published US currency conversion rates may differ from those provided by your credit card issuer's exchange rate.
- Taxes and Import Charges: Our store will automatically apply and collect the relevant sales tax for orders shipped to addresses within the same province. For orders destined to other provinces, you are responsible for all applicable sales taxes and other associated taxes.
- Canadian Sales Taxes: Shipments to Ontario, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland will be subject to a 13% HST, while Nova Scotia will have a 15% HST. In other parts of Canada, a 5% GST will apply. No taxes will be imposed on orders shipped to the USA.
- Status Indians Taxes: Status Indians may be eligible to claim an exemption from the eight percent Ontario component of the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) for qualifying property or services at the point of sale. - US Sales Taxes: There are no sales tax, import taxes, customs duties, or brokerage fees for orders shipped to the United States, up to approximately C$1,040.00 | US $754.18 (or US $800.00 | US $580.14, excluding shipping charges). If the order value exceeds C$1,040.00 | US $754.18, US buyers may incur carrier brokerage fees, but no customs duties, up to approximately C$2,500.00 | US $1,812.93. This is because most water filters, systems, and parts are exempt from duties as part of trade agreements between the two countries. However, it's essential to note that this is a cross-border transaction, and it depends on the buyer's specific situation and the items ordered.
- Worldwide Sales Taxes: While no sales tax is applicable worldwide, customers are entirely responsible for any customs brokerage fees and government import duties and taxes.
Typographical Errors
- Should a product on BLUEMAXWATER.COM be erroneously listed at an incorrect price, BLUEMAXWATER.COM retains the authority to decline or annul any orders made for products with the inaccurate pricing. This applies even if the order has been verified and your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase, and your order is subsequently canceled, Max Water will provide a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Warranty Information
- Product Inspection: It is imperative that you thoroughly examine the contents of your package upon arrival. In case you discover any damaged, missing, or defective parts, we require written notice via email within 24 hours. The item must remain in its original packaging (as no claims can be accepted after 48 hours for any reason). The defective item(s) should still be in their original packaging, and we may request some pictures for verification purposes. Please note that we do not cover replacement or repair of broken parts after installation. If the buyer incorrectly installs the parts/units or does not adhere to our product requirements, we cannot provide any warranty and will not be liable for any damage.
- Why We Enforce This Policy: Regrettably, due to the number of inexperienced buyers attempting to repair their own equipment, we've found it necessary to implement this policy. We highly recommend having the system you've purchased installed by a professional or someone with adequate knowledge to safeguard against potential losses.
- Shipping Costs: Unless otherwise stated, the buyer is responsible for the shipping costs to and from our facility for products considered for warranty, unless specified otherwise in the warranty conditions mentioned above. Any expenses associated with the removal or installation of the product for warranty consideration are also the responsibility of the buyer. Please be aware that some of our systems are designed for do-it-yourself (DIY) installation, so there should be no costs related to the removal or installation of these systems.
- Warranty Information: Unless otherwise specified, Blue Max Water® provides a one-year limited warranty for water systems from the original date of consumer purchase, and a 90-day warranty for all other repairs. Proof of the original purchase from Blue Max Water® is necessary to avail the one-year warranty. This warranty does not extend to consumable items like filters, membranes, tanks, transformers, permeate pumps, faucet and system housing threads. When properly installed, maintained, and operated, our products are expected to perform their intended functions.
- Limitations of Warranty: Our warranty applies solely to products with manufacturer defects within the specified timeframe. Blue Max Water® is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from equipment malfunctions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, alteration, mishandling, or improper installation. No warranty is applicable to items installed by anyone other than a certified professional plumber, or for products used with accessories not sold or approved by Blue Max Water®.
- Exclusions from Warranty: Normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, physical force, high water pressure, external agents, and other factors are not covered. Additionally, products that have been altered or used with non-Blue Max Water® accessories, or products with removed or illegible labels, are not eligible for warranty coverage. The warranty does not extend to products purchased, shipped to, or used outside Canada or the United States.
- Additional Information: Please note that our warranty does not apply to electrical power supplies, transformers, UV quartz, bulbs, booster pumps, and faucets beyond specified warranty periods. All warranty claims must be initiated within the provided timeframe. Furthermore, this warranty policy is applicable to systems purchased from our websites, www.maxwaterflow.com, and www.bluemaxwater.com, and for the customers who will activate their warranty on this website, and it does not extend to products sold by other websites or retail stores.
- Out of Warranty Service: For service outside the warranty period, we charge a service fee, starting at $80.00 | US $58.02 per hour, in addition to the cost of parts and filters.
